1 Scope
1.1 This Standard covers ABS and PVC water closet flanges that have a clamping seal for use with floor‐covering membranes and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance tests, and markings.
Note: Water closet flanges covered by this Standard are intended to prevent water from seeping from improperly sealed wax bowl rings, thereby helping to reduce property damage caused by water.
